If this is a duplicate thread please feel free to delete this, but I didn't see it anywhere.
Old Dominion had its usual 19,782 on hand Saturday to watch the Monarchs throttle the Panthers, 34-20. I'll post pictures I took at the game this evening supporting the attendance, in case anyone questions the authenticity of the figure. http://www.odusports.com/sports/m-footbl/recaps/102310aaa.html

Does the NCAA include "off site" game in teams averages?
UNH averages just under 10,000/game....that 32+ would gime them a huge boost.

question for the posters. If students are admitted to the game free, do they count in the official attendance. I attended Fordham v. LaFayette Saturday at Fordham. The stands hold @ 7,300 and were virtually full. The "official" attendance was announced at 4,800, shy, IMO, by about 2,000.

Very strange. No way there were only 4800 in attendance. Seems counterintuitive but is there any reason (except incompetence) for an administration to understate attendance. Undercounting is done in the concert business to reduce tax liability but that does not apply to a university.

There was maybe half that there. Western's stadium holds 13,742. In no way was this sellout conditions.

Dont mean to pick a fight but 4800 looks right on to me... still its a great crowd and they where so into the game
I have the game on Replay on ESPN3I am already into late 3rd quarter Still great crowd for Fordham also when you have bench seating you could have 5/6 empty spots per row per section and it can still look packed. again just giving my honest opinion

Tuesday night game or not, #2 should have a full house, I doubt playing on Tuesday would effect teams like Alamaba or Oregon to that degree. (btw announced attendance was 32,000 which is capacity, but it sure didn't look like it on TV)
