Rubin Carter has placed an increased emphasis on prospects from Florida
Dan Talbot said he did something this year that he hadn't done in his previous two years as an assistant football coach at Lakeland High School: talk to a Florida A&M football coach.
''I've been at Lakeland three years and this is the first time I've ever talked to them (FAMU),'' Talbot said. ''They (FAMU coaches) stayed awhile and talked to all the coaches.''
