Half way through the season, Portland State has been one of the offensive surprises of the Big Sky Conference (against Football Championship Division teams), racking up 435 yards against Cal Davis and a whopping 531 yards against Idaho State, and 456 yards against Montana State and 345 against Montana. Better still, the Vikings have averaged 280 rushing yards per game in those contests. In Big Sky Conference games, PSU leads the league in total offense with 433 yards per game.
