The University of Maine football team fell to No. 6 Villanova by the score of 48-18 on Saturday afternoon at Alfond Stadium in Orono, Maine. With the loss, Maine falls to 2-5 overall and 1-3 in CAA play while Villanova improves to 4-2 and 2-1 in conference play.
