This stinks! I really don't care much for the CBS NFL Today program and always preferred the Fox NFL Sunday shows. Not sure who FOX can find to replace JB, but they had better make a pretty good decision for someone to fit in with Terry, Howie and Jimmie...
--------
The Los Angeles Times and New York Times report that James Brown will leave Fox NFL Sunday to host CBS' The NFL Today. Brown will replace host Greg Gumbel, who asked to return to the booth and will team with Dan Dierdorf on CBS' No. 2 play-by-play team behind Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, and Brown expressed interest in commuting from his home in Washington, D.C., to CBS' headquarters in New York rather than to the Fox Network Center in L.A.

That does stink. The Fox pregame was always better with JB playing referee to the other guys. Of course, since Fox shows the Giants, I'll still watch.

I've worked for CBS and my Texans are on CBS, but I have always watched FOX for the first 45 minutes...

Hope they find him a better studio crew than the ones they have now in Marino, Sharpe and Esiason. I think they have to be the worst three on tv, especially Shannon Sharpe. That dude can talk. He reminds me of Mush Mouth from Fat Albert.

Eh, whatever, I only start watching when the clock says it's kickoff time. I might watch a pregame show only if they kick idiot Michael Irvin off. He adds absolutely nothing.

That does suck, Fox was the only pregame show I ever watched. There are way to many changes going on next year as far NFL on TV goes. ESPN is dumping NFL primetime, games on the NFL Network, etc. I don't know if I can handle all the changes.

ESPN is dumping NFL Primetime? That stinks more than JB going to CBS. That's the only show I can see Titans highlights since we are in a Panthers market. Of course, this year, there really were no Titans highlights, but you get my drift.

Yes they are dumping Prime Time because they pick up Monday Night Football next season. Sunday night football moves to NBC. I think Madden moved to NBC too. Al Michaels gets the luxury of working with Mr Know it ALL..Joe Theismann.

Actually Michaels and Madden will be doing Sunday Night Football on NBC and Joe Theismann, Tony Kornheiser, and Mike Tirico will be the new Monday night crew.

At least they put Suzy Kolbert on the sidelines. She knows what she's talking about, and she's very good in that role. Of course, they will have to keep Joe Namath away from her.
