I'm at home with JD this Super Bowl. Going to Super bowl parties just makes me worthless the next morning so I'm lying low.
Any Other AGSer's out there to comment on the game, kibbitz, remark on dumb things the announcers are saying and in general pretend we know the game of Pro football? :smiley_wi

That is pretty intense. I can imagine some people might have chosen their church ties today to match their favorite team but I would never think of wearing a sports jersey to a Sunday church service.

Mickey Matthews called this class JMU's best in history which he had called the previous recruiting season as well. We will have to see what they can actually do on the field. JMU also will have veteran leadership returning on offense (QB Rascati, RB Banks, RB Fenner, WR Boxley) and one of the best defensive backs (FS Tony LeZotte) in the country returning as well.

I normally should root for the Steelers since I am a long Bengals fan first. A person always wants to root for the team that beat them since it makes them look that much better.
Before I moved to Seattle, the Hawks were always my #2. Now that I have lived here for a little while, I will most likely "hop on the bandwagon" and make them #1. Realize I picked the Bengals as my favorite team when I was 5.
I am starting to sound like a chick. "My two favorite teams are..."

Agree with that.
But, as simple as Stones songs are they should still sound better at a live venue. I know cover bands who can do Stones' songs that sound a lot better than what I heard tonite and tonite was not the exception.
McCartney's vocals are much more difficult than anything the Rolling Stones do and he pulled off a master performance last year.

It's Only Rock and Roll
Jumpin Jack Flash
Can't Always Get What You Want

The best songs the Stones do live are Jumpin Jack Flash, Sympathy for the Devil and Gimme Shelter. McCartney is a little too mild for my taste. I have to be in the right mood for him.
Played in bands where we did all three and they were all great fun songs. Gimme' Shelter was my favorite to perform. The Kinks You Really Got Me and All day and All Night were in the same vein.

I even accidentally started cheering when Parker was running down the field. He was on my fantasy team this past fall. My friends were wondering why in the world I was cheering as they know I am pulling for the Seahawks. :o

Best I can say is: Holgren is the coach, and they were 13-3. Didn't have to play well late in many games.
Many people feel that Seattle finally quit shooting themselves in the leg this year, and that is why they made it to the Superbowl.
