After six weeks of play, here are my projected playoff teams (with projected records) from the SoCon:

1. Appalachian State - 8-0, 10-1 (seed)
ASU gets a "breather" against The Citadel and WCU before taking on Furman, GSU and Wofford. An ASU win vs. Wofford will seal their sixth straight title. An ASU win vs. Florida will secure them the #1 overall seed.

2. Chattanooga - 7-1, 8-3
Who knew that Chattanooga would turn their team around so quickly as they did. Chattanooga could win their first SoCon title in a long time by winning out and hope that ASU loses twice in conference play.

3. Wofford - 6-2, 8-3
Wofford is another team that had a dramatic turnaround from last year. They will be competitive in their last two games vs. ASU and Chattanooga.

4. Furman/Georgia Southern - 5-3, 7-4
Winner of Furman/Georgia Southern game could also be punching their ticket.

On the outside looking in:
5. Furman/Georgia Southern - 4-4, 6-5
Effort of both teams was good.

6. Elon - 3-5, 4-7
Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

7. Samford - 2-6, 4-7
Tough breaks this season befell the Bulldogs.

8. Western Carolina - 1-7, 2-9
The question should not be if Wagner is out as HC, but when he is out. I do not see Bardo pulling a Paul Stanton on the football program.

9. The Citadel - 0-8, 2-9
Will Higgins be around next year? We'll find out soon enough.
