Wonder what the SWAC fans think now that Deriso is bringing it up?

Of note - what happens if the SWAC does lose one or two members? How does that impact the SWAC championship game... or dare I say, the Heritage Bowl? Let alone scheduling!

The Southland Conference's situation is very fluid...

You have two members on their way out - TXST and UTSA - plus several members that have made it clear that they are reviewing their options - SHSU and Lamar.

Throw in the Louisiana financial situation that is rattling several conferences in the region and you have to spend time to review the state of the SLC from an expansion standpoint.
