Still can't get the enthusiasm in Delaware. 19,523 in attendance for #2 (or #1 depending on the poll) Delaware vs Maine. Next weekend is Parents Day and there's still the rivalry game with Nova. Hopefully we can turn this thing around.

this is why i am an advocate of playing important games on homecoming, team usually comes in pumped up with the big crowd and plays well. not a fan of scheduling a cupcake for homecoming.

19,523 isn't quite capacity, but it's not doing too bad, the crowds seem to be hanging around that range so far this year, and we still have Parents Weekend and Villanova as you say, plus Homecoming. I think either UMass or JMU would have drawn a bigger crowd, but maybe some impending championship buzz will help.
Plus, from what I read from another poster, Biden was in attendance. No one else can say they had the second most powerful man in the country in attendance today.

Looked like there could be expansion around the endzones with seats extended from the sidelines.

If you could only spell ridiculous. Or have a grasp of numbers, spacial distribution, and just having a clue in general. Maybe if we close the 14,000 seats behind the end zones and cram all the people behind the player benches, Southern fans would get a clue, but who am I kidding here. They rather live in denial. It's much more comforting, especially after that Wofford loss.

Losing by 2 to a top 25 Wofford team is no shame. Losing to a Lambuth however... As long as we are correcting simple typo mistakes, you need to join several of your sentences and end your questions with a "?".

NCCU vs Hampton 8791; 88% of capacity this game. NCCU continues to run over 100% capacity for the year. It's amazing because our coaching staff is the most frustrating in the history of FCS football.
And next week will sell out as well with Bethune-Cookman bringing their 350 piece band and it being open house. Then homecoming will sell 15K. Then I expect attendance at our lone November home game against ODU to be horrible unless they bring some people.

haha might be strategic, the longer the tailgate time the drunker the students get, which raises the likelihood of an "unfortunate situation" in an stadium that is already over capacity. I remember the couple noon playoff games we had the whole stadium was stone sober....(for the most part anyway)

If I remember correctly, for previous night games we were allowed to be out at the tailgate but they had officers walking around telling people no drinking until noon. That happened to us while in Raley a couple years back.
