BEAUMONT - Between 1981 and 1989 - the last season for Lamar University to field a football team before this year - the Cardinals won only one of nine Homecoming games.

Good thing they scheduled Langston for Homecoming and not a FCS team. Broke up the schedule well...

1 of 9 homecoming games as a victory? That's very surprising - aren't teams supposed to win Homecoming?
