Here is a drawing of what their new stadium will look like:

It will initially seat somewhere between 10,000-15,000 with eventual expansion to 30,000 seats.

It's an odd schedule if it holds like that, but great for attendance if we have every home game in a finished new stadium when students are in town (school starts ~10/1). Last year I think there were 2 home games with students in town. Keeping my fingers crossed for Cal.
No one really knows what capacity will be for the stadium, as they will have grass seating behind the endzones. So it could be up at 16-18K, with ~10-12K seats. It's kind of a giant cluster**** as they haven't been doing anything in months and no one knows when it will be done.

Wow, 5 straight on the road to open the season, you will be battle tested when you travel to the Ice Castle on 9/23. Looking forward to it

Hopefully we can pull out some wins on the road and the stadium is done by time we are done touring the country. UCD is making some serious strides with this year's recruiting class.

I have said it before, the rest of the I-AA world should keep a wary eye on the Great West Football Conference. It is already tough, but when UC Davis, NDSU and SDSU become fully funded with 63 scholarships it will be a force. I think NDSU became fully funded last year and will see results this year when their first full class will be redshirt freshmen. Davis and SDSU will probably be in another 2 or 3 seasons.
I agree with Aggie6thman, Davis doing great in the recruiting wars this year.
Go Great West!!!

Hopefully they will start working harder on that stadium, it would be a pity if you scheduled that beast of a road trip only to have to come home to play a game or two at Toomey. That would be awesome if you added Cal instead of SJSU, just so the Spartans don't have to deal with losing to CP and UCD in back to back weeks. :smiley_wi
