The University of Maine football team lost a heartbreaker to No. 8 William and Mary by the score of 24-21 at Alfond Stadium on Saturday evening. With the loss, Maine falls to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in CAA play while William and Mary improves to 3-1 and 1-1 in league play. Maine was led by Pushaun Brown (North Brunswick, N.J.) who rushed for 104 yards and two scores.
