Jax State 28-23 over EIU

The Gamecocks held on as EIU stormed back from 28-9 to have the ball in the red zone 28-23 with less than a minute to play. A well-timed interception followed by a quickly taken knee finally ended the thing.

Cardiac units in northeast Alabama hospitals are likely getting lots of business these days.

On the bright side, Jamal Young rushed for 162 yards and three scores. Marques Ivory was solid at QB, 14-of-22 for 122 yards.

Brandon Large was incredible at QB in the fourth, giving the Panthers a chance to win a game that looked out of reach. He wound up 10-of-17 for 126 yards and a score.

Are we supposed to be impressed with these results or will they finally start to fall in the rankings more towards where I have them in the 10-12 range - EIU has been brutal this year

Wasn't pretty but Jville State is a winner. 4-0. They just get the job done.
