At the risk of having this moved to another forum, I'm starting it on the main page because of the subject matter.

In 10 days, I'm riding to raise money for cancer research in the 24 Hours of Booty event at Atlanta's Stone Mountain. All monies raised to "Kick Cancer's Booty" go to the Lance Armstrong Foundation, as well as other worthwhile charities including the Hendrick Bone Marrow Project, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, The Young Adults Cancer Fund and the Brain Tumor fund. Another beneficiary is the Keep Pounding Foundation, in memory of Sam Mills, former Division III All-American at Montclair State University and All Pro linebacker for the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers.

All donations are tax deductible as the 24 Hours of Booty is a 501 C non-profit corproation. ALL monies raised go to the beneficiary charities.

If you've lost a loved one to this insidious disease, or if you're a cancer survivor, or if you know a cancer survivor, won't you consider making a donation to the 24 Hours of Booty, so that others may survive, too?

No amounts are too small and any donation is greatly appreciated, even as small as $10.00 or evern $5.00.

All donations can be handled and tracked online via the 24 HOB secure website.

I posted a thread in the Lounge a couple of months ago, but I'm not sure if I titled it in such a manner as to get the proper attention.

Here's a link giving you a little more background information on our team.

Currently, we're the smallest team in the 24 Hours of Booty's Atlanta event, but we're in 14th place overall in terms of fundraising. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
