Are there any FCS teams that are ineligible for the 2010 playoffs? If so, why?

North Dakota and South Dakota are still transitioning.

I don't think Bryant is eligible for the AQ out of the NEC, but dgreco can probably confirm this.

Apparently Lamar is not officially classified at all this year.
Is Presbyterian through their probationary period yet?

Presbyterian is eligible this year? Thought they were in the same part of the transition at the UxDs schools?

My signature has how long until we are playoff eligible...its getting shorter day by day, and the anticipation is growing and growing!!

Our purgatory is finally over!! It feels great...now if we can just make it into the playoffs this season! That would be icing on the cake!

Is Ga. State really ineligible? I know they are a first year program and won't make it (they play a bunch of D-II) etc. But if they had the schedule and wins, I thought they'd be eligible.

Do wins against the new programs (Georgia State & Lamar) and the new transition team (South Alabama) count as a D1 win? My assumption is yes, but will someone confirm that?

You can't be in the playoffs until you are fully D-I

They are if they are in years 2-5. But they are frowned on. Those teams are in year 1.
