This one looks like it is going down to the wire.
Currently at half, Bobcats lead 7-3.
Both teams with one turnover and a missed FG.
Balanced attack for the Cats while CPO is leaning heavily on the run.
The last two games in San Marcos between these two have been decided by a TD or less, this one will probably not be an exception.

Could be a GREAT day for the SLC... between TXST and SFA wins! ** crosses fingers **
Need UCA to come back and top Murray State and for NWST to squeeze it out.

I love playing Cal Poly. Our games are always close and classic. This game had everything--great defense (1st half), explosive offensive plays (3rd quarter), grind it out rushing, nasty hits, few penalties, classy Cal Poly fans...
Good luck the rest of the year to your squad as well. Hope we continue to play each other!

Agree. That was a fun game to watch. Our games against them are always a fun matchup.

Was a great game and a great win but not knowing whether to put too much stock into it. Cal Poly basically had nowhere to go in the passing game.
That said the Bobcat defensive front has made quantum leaps in size, athleticism and aggressiveness from season's past. They have given up 1 TD in 2 full games. The rest of the opponent's points were the fault of offense or special teams.

Or from the Univ. of Houston. Don't worry...I, too, like to pretend that game never happened. xlolx

Congratulations Texas State! The Mustangs need a passing game to be competitive the entire game!
