The ticket office closed Friday morning with a little over 3,000 tickets available. So we should have 20,000 plus student (free) and walk up sales. This will put us in the neighborhood with App, Montana, Delaware, Ga Southern, and a few others at least for a week.

Congrats on beating Ole Miss and everything... but, come on, man.

Yes

The teams you listed don't seem to start multiple threads to announce the fact that they've sold 20,000 tickets.

I would like to see a third thread for the final tally.

Its all good in the ville on the Hill. Please don't let others rain our our parade or steal your joy. There are no rules to starting a couple different threads. Appy Fans, GS Fans, MT Fans, MT State really I can't name them all that have done the same thing.

Lets all keep and share the FCS Family Love on this Wonderful and Gorgeous Saturday.

Peace Out

Go Gamecocks ! :D

We are very happy and hope you can be happy with us because

We live in the state of Alabama where the Crimson Tide will have 101,000 tonight at the same time slot and they just won the NC last year. And some Saturdays the Auburn Tigers will have 80,000 plus in their stadium at the same time JSU is playing. Alabama & Auburn Football is more than a strong contender in this state. We also have U of North Alabama , U of Troy, UAB etc.

I'm sure they have started Multiple threads on other subjects.

You don't see fans from the others listed getting work up over our success either.

I say the more threads, the merrier. I remember when App beat Michigan, the entire first page here was App threads and NONE of them were started by App fans. xlolx

Bask in the glory Jax State. You deserve it.

Chattanooga just forced its 4th turnover of the first half and returned a fumble for a TD. 10-0 with 6:20 in the 2Q.

If UTC can win this, today will be a GREAT day for the SoCon (WCU's effort notwithstanding).

We tried to tell you all that Chattanooga is really solid this year, but nooooo most people just ignored it as us being insecure App fans. Second week in a row UTC has a lead at the half over a top 5 team. Time to believe. GO MOCS!!!

TD for the Gamecocks followed by a Chattanooga fumble on the kickoff. JSU is rallying, late in the third.

That certainly sounds similar. Hang in there UTC this would be a solid end to a pretty good day for the SoCon (sans WCU as usual).

Now 17-14 UTC midway through the 4th. They need a good, sustained drive here.

After stopping UTC on 4th and short, JSU goes 89 yards in a minute, including a 72-yard TD pass, to take a lead with 1:16 to go. 21-17 JSU.

72 yard TD pass on 3rd and 3 with 1:20 left to go. UTC just can't close for the 2nd straight week. This team is still a year away due to depth, but their starters can play.

And then they fumble the kickoff. Nice show of resiliency by Jacksonville State and yet another TOUGH loss for Chattanooga.

Wow. To be a Chatty fan this year. Two heart-breakers already. JSU with another comeback. Teams that just seem to find ways to win do the best in the playoffs. Look out for JSU later this year.

Mocs have learned how to be competitive (two years ago, the Mocs lost by a combined 82-26 to these two teams)

...now they have to learn how to finish. Where are Glenville State and Presbyterian when you need them????? ;)

When Chattanooga's D catches up with the O... You better be ready for game. Their o line is good.

Nooga is the best 0-2 team in the nation. Their defense is amazing. All they need is to learn how to win. So far we seem to have forgotten how to lose. Jack Crowe should now be known as Cardiac Jack. Ya'll wanna know whats awesome? Sticking strawberry's in a fountain of chocolate fondue while looking out a glass wall at a football game. Thats as good as it gets folks :)

Crowd of 22,186. Considering there was a big thunderstorm and a 1hour rain delay, and the fact bammer was playing Penn St on TV, i am quite happy with that number.
