This should have Citdog frothing at the mouth in no time. A typical hatchett job on FCS football...but it's particularly ironic coming from a Pac 10 team with no particular football legacy?xnonono2xxnonono2xxnonono2x

I guess he missed the fact that El Cid has upset Arkansas and South Carolina and scared the daylights out of Wisconsin. I would put any of those 3 schools football pedigrees up against Arizona's in a heartbeat.

I heard Coach Stoops on the radio. He said some good stuff about the Citadel and their tradition and respecting FCS opponents.

Yeah, coaching perspectives and journalists' perspectives are two separate things. Journalists don't really need to worry about fair assessments, while coaches still have to win games.

And why should Arizona be worried about FCS?

2009: Arizona 34, Northern Arizona 17
2007: Arizona 45, Northern Arizona 24
2006: Arizona 28, SFAustin 10
2005: Arizona 31, Northern Arizona 12
2004: Arizona 21, Northern Arizona 3
2002: Arizona 37, Northern Arizona 3

Other than the 2002 game, Arizona is paying good money for good, but not overwhelming, wins over an in-state school (and one game against SFA). Admittedly 2007 was also a big win, but then, would a team from a big six BCS school really boast about giving up 24 points to a "I-AA" team?
