Boise State wins!! A great comeback for the Broncos!!

Virginia Tech is somewhat of an enigma. The Hokies were the perfect team for Broncos to play in a game like this since VT usually never wins these games. I can think of 3 truly BIG games that the Hokies have won, '95 Sugar over Texas, '99 Miami and '08 Orange over Cincy. Besides that they've come up small in just about every big game.

I can think of 3 truly BIG games that the Hokies have won, '95 Sugar over Texas, '99 Miami and '08 Orange over Cincy. Besides that they've come up small in just about every big game.

Wouldn't really call it a comeback by the Broncos considering a) VT had to comeback from 17 down and b) the most VT ever lead by was 4. But that was a hell of a game, especially once the VT offense realized that Boise was rushing 4 every play and was leaving one-on-one coverage.
