FRISCO, Texas – Southeastern Louisiana University’s Tommy Connors was named the Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Week in an announcement by the league office on Monday.

Glad to see Connors already establishing himself really quickly as SLC Def POTY. I'm sure this eases the burden slightly for him as there were some questions as he came back to the gridiron after the early injury last year. Props to Tommy!
