Spring Training

Spring training baseball is a little over a month away!

For all you baseball fans out there-

If you ever have the chance, I highly recommend building a vacation around some Cactus League / Grapefruit League games – especially those of you with kids who are baseball fans. The ballparks are all small, intimate settings; many of the players make themselves available to sign autographs; the concessions costs are reasonable; and most of the ballparks are located in areas with lots to do. A guaranteed good time for all!

I made the Grapefruit circuit with my son when he was a freshman in college. Great father-son bonding experience. We caught several baseball games and a Tampa Bay hockey game.
