DAVIDSON, N.C. - Junior quarterback Scott Darby (Tewksbury, Mass./St. John's Prep) was named Georgetown's starting quarterback earlier in the week and celebrated the distinction by completing 14-of-23 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown and rushing for 66 yards and another touchdown, as the Georgetown University football team (1-0) defeated Davidson College, 20-10 in the season-opener at Stephen B. Smith Field at Richardson Stadium on Saturday evening.
