What is the thoughts nationwide on Gary Kubiak coming over to the Texans? Perhaps some of you NoCo and others nearby who have followed the Broncos can give us some insight. I've heard all the Houston talk, but I want to know what others around the nation are saying...

------------
My thoughts on Gary Kubiak, the new hire as Texans head coach. He's an offensive-minded game who has been an NFL quarterback. He's going to be one helluva upgrade as an offensive-minded coach and I have no doubt that he'll bring in an offensive coordinator that shares his philosophy. This will improve the Texans greatly as I do think at times, when Carr was given the keys to the offense, things were fine. Granted the OLine still is a work in progress, but even they had some fine moments.

The defense is a wreck still and when the young guys got put in, things seemed to get better. They were taking lots of risks and if the rewards increase from said risks, they'll be fine. Special teams is fine in terms of returning (All Pro Jerome Mathis) and punting. The kicking was suspect, but the $$$ is invested in Kris Brown. Kubiak will turn this ship around. I'm thinking the Texans go 6-10, 7-9 and hopefully two of those wins are over the 'Skins and Cowboys!

Well no matter what people think, it is official. Bob Mcnair announced it this evening after the Broncos lost.
