Football Lives Again at Boston University !!!

Long since thought dead Football at Boston University is making a slight
comeback with the creation of a new club team that is joining a new club league
called the Yankee Collegiate Football Conference
The league begins play in a couple of weeks
Members include the following :
Boston University
University of Vermont
University of Maine
Clarkson University
Eastern Ct State University
South Western Ct University
Bronx Rebels
and a tentative team from
Northeastern University
So the hope remains alive
Hope the league has a great season and inspires other to start teams of their
to back into the game.

Club football is getting bigger and bigger...

Think there are more club football teams than any time since the early 1970s, late 1960s... when current FCS schools like Nicholls and Fordham were playing club ball.

Quite a few schools do... even Ohio State, Clemson, North Carolina, South Carolina, South Alabama (soon) and Miami (Ohio)... amongst others.

After I finished at W&M the guy who ran the rugby club was after me for two years of grad school to play the game. Problem was that every time he asked me he was in a cast. I told him I'd had four concussions, but they hadn't renedered me stupid.
