Details of Lamar's new scoreboard & Another FBS Tranfer

Lamar's new scoreboard is going to measure 48 ft high by 88 ft high.. The video board alone will be 25 x 51 ft! This thing is going to be a MONSTER!

Also LU has another FBS transfer. Blake Chavis ( 3 star) signed with TAMU out of high school but played 2 years at Navarro JC. He had signed to play with Arkansas State for this season but decided to transfer to Lamar. He is the brother of Billy

I heard that will be the third largest scoreboard in the state of Texas. Glad to get Blake Chavis to Lamar and join his brother. Both signed with Texas A&M out of HS and now they are Cardinals.

Chavis and Beard should make an immediate impact on our defense.
