The Hall of Fame class includes former head football coach Bill Collick, who led the Hornets to five Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference titles from 1985 to 1996. Collick, who also served four years as the university's athletic director, is the school's all-time leader with 81 football coaching wins.
Delaware State football standouts Steve Coleman, DeCosta Brown, Victor Heflin, Joe Lane and Donald Wright also were selected. Lane was also a standout wrestler for the Hornets.
