Jacksonville State has been busy tweaking and fine-tuning in August, like most other college football programs.
The Gamecocks, however, aren’t just prepping a new quarterback or defensive back for the season. The university is putting the finishing touches on an 18-month, $47 million renovation to Burgess-Snow Field at JSU Stadium that pushes the seating capacity to 24,000.
Coach Jack Crowe called it “probably the best on-campus football facility anywhere in FCS football.”
