A pair of underclassmen turned in the day’s biggest plays.
The Richmond Football Team scrimmaged for the second-consecutive Saturday at Robins, with the Spiders spreading five rushing touchdowns among the team’s four backs, while the defense forced six turnovers.
A pair of underclassmen turned in the day’s biggest highlights as true freshman Wayne Pettus intercepted a pass on the near side and returned it 32 yards for a touchdown and redshirt freshman Jovan Smith scampering 20 yards for a score in the Red Zone period.
