It certainly appears Michigan and Ohio State will be in separate divisions in the Big Ten, and the annual rivalry game will move from its traditional spot as the last regular-season game.
Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon, appearing Friday morning on WTKA 1050 AM, was asked by host Sam Webb if he thinks the rivals will be in the same division, when the breakdown is revealed, more than likely within the next month.
Brandon answered after a long pause.

"No," Brandon said. "Because we're in a situation where one of the best things that could happen in my opinion in a given season would be the opportunity to play Ohio State twice, once during the regular season and once for the championship of the Big Ten."
This is just stunning. Not only the utter incompetence of Michigan's AD, but just the idea that one of the best rivalries in college sports will become completely emasculated... because of divisional play.
Even after typing it my brain is having a hard time reconciling it.
BCS football has become one huge clusterfluck.
