After a ridiculous number of injuries last year, it appears Wofford has not yet escaped the black cloud.

By all accounts, Scott is a great kid, too. Sure hope he recovers.
We've lost 3 RB's now for the season (Lees, Boyce and now Scott) with a few others still dinged up. Sooner or later, this has got to stop. xprayx

This is beyond unlucky. Niam is the leader of this defense and went down against Wisconsin in our 3rd game of 2009. This leaves us starting a true frosh at LB....I'm having de ja vue all over again and don't like it one bit.xthumbsdownxxthumbsdownxxthumbsdownxhttp://www.goupstate.com/article/20100830/NEWS/100839971/1090/SPORTS02?Title=Terriers-injuries-already-adding-up-Niam-out-for-year

Awful news Woof. I just wonder(not meaning to be critical at all) at what point do you have to question the S&C and/or the sports medicine people you use? The Terriers seem to have those injuries and the abnormally long times to recover worse than anyone I think I have ever heard of. Just bad coincidences or possible areas that need questioning?

I tend to agree and others on our board are wondering out loud as well. 9 starters went down with torn ACL's last year and several are not back yet. We did hire a new strength and conditioning coach, but I can't speak to the team MD's who are doing the surgical repairs. It just seems something is amiss and it's too bad for these young men.
