The season opener at Georgetown Saturday afternoon saw Yale benefit from a two-headed running attack, an efficient passing game, a tenacious defense and some spectacular special teams plays. It all added up to a 31-10 win in the debut of Tom Williams as Yale's Joel E. Smilow '54 Head Coach of Football.
