Freshman tailback Taylor Stibb turned a short screen pass from freshman quarterback Dez Duron into a 40-yard touchdown in the second quarter, and that was all the scoring the Yale junior varsity's defense needed on a rainy Sunday afternoon at Clint Frank Field against Milford Academy. Sophomore outside linebacker Matt Battaglia forced a safety in the fourth quarter to finish off the 8-0 shutout.
