Senior UMass tailback John Griffin was named to the FCS Senior Scout Bowl Preseason All-American Team. Griffin and his new Minutemen teammates begin preseason camp on Sunday, Aug. 8 and open the regular-season on Sept. 4 vs. William & Mary. Griffin transferred to UMass after three seasons at Northeastern, where he was the only CAA player to rush for 1,000 yards in the regular-season in 2009.
