With the loss of Bush, Leinart and now White, how high can the Trojans be considered in the pre-season polls next season?
USC running back White declares for NFL draft
DENVER -- Southern California's Thunder is rumbling off to the NFL. USC's Lightning could be next to bolt.
LenDale White declared himself eligible for the NFL draft on Wednesday, one day before Reggie Bush is expected to announce he, too, will skip his senior season to turn pro.
White, a 6-foot-2, 235-pound junior, was the Thunder to Bush's Lightning in the Trojans' backfield for three seasons. White set a USC record by scoring 57 career touchdowns
He said it was difficult to leave a program that came within seconds of winning a third consecutive national championship last week.

Technically they haven't lost Bush yet. He still hasn't officially declared. How much would him not declaring f up the draft this year?? Man, that would be great, although we all know he is going to go.

USC will be in the mix. Are they top three at the beginning of the year in the polls? Of course not. Top 10, you better believe it...
Carroll doesn't have some of the top recruiting classes in the nation for nothing...

Yes but a lot can be said for team experience together. With the loss of these three guys USC loses the backbone of their team, and boy what a backbone it is. I don't think they should be top 10, top 15 maybe but these three guys made their team.

USC will be in the mix next year. I'd say that there isn't a team that stands out, or teams that stand out, like USC and Texas did this year. USC will reload however. John David Booty is a VERY talented quarterback, and with Mark Sanchez waiting in the wings, USC is set there. I don't think losing Leinart will be as big as losing Bush and White. However, with the recruiting classes USC has, I'm sure they'll be fine.

I'd say West Virginia will scare some people next year, and probably singlehandedly keep the BCS bid for the BIG LEAST
although I know the BCS is looking at taking it away, and they ARE looking at the conference as a whole over the past 6 years, so still might be a couple years away
