SAN ANTONIO — Four-time track & field All-American Teddy Williams fulfilled a life-long childhood dream on Thursday when he signed a contract with the Dallas Cowboys. Williams, who will begin his National Football League (NFL) career at defensive back and wear No. 29, is on the field for the Cowboys’ 2:15 p.m. practice at the Alamodome. The terms of the deal were not released.

Unfortunately, this kid won't last too long in Dallas. Hopefully he can use his time in Dallas as a way to show off his talents for the 31 other clubs in the league!

TT, and then I, posted this like a week ago :)

Either way, I wish him the best and if anything he may end up with the Raiders; as Al Davis has demonstrated his willingness to draft speedster/butterfinger receivers like Darius Heyward-Bey.

He could end up on the practice squad and learn the position of CB and maybe in a couple of years earn a spot on the active roster.
