With offensive and defensive players of the year returning from 2009 in Prairie View quarterback K.J. Black and Grambling defensive end Christian Anthony, the preseason all-SWAC football team for 2010 carried few surprises - especially since Prairie View and Alabama A&M were selected to repeat as respective division champions for the upcoming season.

We're very proud of the efforts of our young men. They've showed great fortitude whilst taking a chance on helping to strengthen PVAMU athletically, as well as academically. Congrats to all represented on the pre-season 1st and 2nd teams. Proud of everyone.

And now, lets wreak havoc OOC on E-V-E-R-Y single squad/team we face, SWAC!!!!!!

It's gonna be an interesting season of good competitive football... Can't wait until the season gets here. Looking forward to the season opener in Shreveport vs La Tech, the home opener vs JSU, and the SFC game vs PV in Dallas (should be 60k plus). Of course we got that get-together in Nawlins on Thanksgiving weekend with our kinfolk from SU. After that...somebody's gonna get the bizness from Chris and the rest of the GMEN in Birmingham at the SCG...hopefully about 30k or so!
