Two articles from the Greeley Tribune regarding the Big Sky and college realignment...and props to BSC Commissioner Doug Fullerton for stealing SLC Commissioner Tom Burnett's line regarding the 'epicenter'. It's the best quote for college realignment! ;)
BIG SKY STAYS WATCHFUL: Conference keeps its hand on pulse of possible realignment
Maybe Big Sky Conference commissioner Doug Fullerton put it best when he compared the recent conference realignment at the Football Bowl Subdivision level to an earthquake.
“The damage that is done depends on how close to the epicenter you live,” Fullerton said. “That is the story of earthquakes and of conference realignment.”

College football expansion still hot topic
Presence of postseason playoff should deter big mergers in Football Championship Subdivision, but still possible
“Super-size me” appears to be the latest trend in college football.
With more realignment at the Football Bowl Subdivision possible in years to come, superconferences appear to be the wave of the future at the FBS level.
Could it become the trend at the Football Championship Subdivision level as well once an NCAA moratorium on institutions moving to the FBS is lifted in August 2011?
