Is this news to anyone else? May have flown under the radar, but SFA's AD said the selection committee was urging schools (and conferences) to wrap up their games on Nov. 20 by 8 p.m. CT...
Most weeks, it seems the country's slate of FCS games are done by 6, 7 p.m. CT to begin with. I guess it does not hurt that most squads in this classification are in the Central and Eastern time zones...
“The Football Championship Subdivision is going to a 20-team playoff for the first time this season,” Hill said. “The FCS committee wants all games completed by 8 p.m. Central (on Nov. 20).
“It will help the selection committee make the playoff announcement on Sunday morning.”
