I have heard that Young and McNair are friends.

There was a poll on one of the Houston newspaper web sites where fans were voting at an almost 80 percent clip that the Texans should draft Young, the local boy. But the best move for the Texans would be to draft Reggie Bush to give them the running game they currently don't have. David Carr would be an entirely different QB with Bush behind him and the Texans could start making some strides towards respectability. I agree with Mortenson that Young will probably go No. 3 in the draft.

Nevermind, just read it on espn.com. I thought he would go back for his senior season to win the Heisman. That has to be eating away at him!

Saints fans (I work in NOLA) are saying that they will get Leinart at #2 even if Young came out (which he did).

Bush - #1
Leinart - #2
Young - #3

Ok...I think we found out where Young is going if he makes it past the Texans.

What do the Texans need? How about an O-line. Carr was sacked how many times this year? I say texans trade down and get two first round draft picks and a two second round picks so they can get some offensive lineman.

Issue with O-Line was about health as well. Once they moved Pitts to LT, they were much better 100%. Weigert was their best OL and he was out for quite a few games. I think they don't need as many holes to fill on the OL as many people think. OL is one of those things where you need to develop consistency. Considering the passing game did not open up the running game in many games, therein lies the problems...

Texans need a HC or OC who lets them do things right, thereby opening up the running game and the passing game, giving the Texans a chance at opening up the lanes to move down the field. Those who don't really follow the Texans will go bananas about our OL, I think there are bigger issues this offseason. Even the broadcast crew will tell you thinks have changed dramaticaly when they made some tweaks late in the year...

Actually, the running game was average, not bad - 15th out of 32 in Yds/game. It was the passing game that was the problem - 30th out of 32.

That is a great idea. There is also a great offensive lineman from Virginia expected to go the the first round.

Ferguson? If thats who you are thinking of, he'll probably be gone by 10-15, one of the best in this draft

They will be scrutinized no matter what they do with the pick, so its a catch 22

I officially started drooling after Mortenson and then Kiper said that Young will go No. 3 to the Titans. One more year for McNair, then Vince Young will be their quarterback. I can't wait.
