Smarting from their loss to Penn State the Mountain Hawks and their juggled lineup travel to Ann Arbor this afternoon to do battle with the Wolverines and then later travel to Ypsilanti to wrestle Eastern Michigan. Though possible to split the 10 weights, I foresee our subs giving up some major bonus points, so a miracle will be in order to pull off the upset.

Despite missing 3 starters the Mountain Hawks valiantly fought the Wolverines down to the wire at Cliff Keen Arena in Ann Arbor this afternoon, before losing 20-15. Lehigh and Michigan split the 10 matches, but Michigan got bonus pts in three of their wins and the key being the absence of #2 Troy Letters at 165 where Michigan's #3 ranked Mark Churella pinned 149 pounder David Nakasone. Lehigh got a boost from Matt Ciassuli at 149 where the unranked wrestler upset #7 David Tannenbaum, 7-6.
Lehigh did bounce back later in the day by travelling to Eastern Michigan and winning 25-10.
Mountain Hawks return to action on Friday night hosting Pittsburgh in "The Snake Pit" followed by the invasion of Midshipmen of Navy on Saturday afternoon. Both matches should be very competitive as both the Panthers and Middies are ranked in Top 20.
