Now, I hate the Patriots with a passion. But these officials are screwing them pretty badly in the first half. That said, my picks (not looking too good so far) this week were:

Washington over Seattle ( )
New England over Denver (Double  )
Indianapolis over Pittsburgh
Carolina over Chicago

Last week I was 3-1, taking:
Washington over Tampa Bay
New England over Jacksonville
Carolina over New York Giants
Cincinnati over Pittsburgh ( )

I say the Pats got screwed. Take away the pass interference, and the interception/touchback call, and they're rolling to Indy.

I think New England lost this game more then Denver did. All the things that went right for the Pats in the last 3-4 years went wrong tonight. They had too many unforced errors and the reffs certaintly did not help their cause. Props to Denver though as they played smart football and took advantage of what was pretty must handed to them.

Yah, until the last interception I still believed that somehow the Pats would claw themselves back into it.

Why are the Colt fans cheering loudly when Payton is at the line, their own crowd cost them a delay of game.... who do they think they are Tex St :p

Horrendous reversal on via Instant Replay... Steelers had what would have been a game sealing INT stolen from them by the officals. Unbelievable call.

21-18 with 11 sec. left. Time for the Super Safety. :hurray:

Pittsburgh @ Denver for the AFC title game. Who had that? I am a Bronco fan and thought the Broncos took great advantage of the NE mistakes. Pittsburgh will be tough but the Denver 12th man (the crowd) should help the Broncos to Detroit.

In the NFC, I like Seattle. I am not only a I-AA West guy, I am also a NFL West guy. Denver vs. Seattle, which was a former AFC West rivalry.

Carolina's rolling, and even though I'm not a huge fan, I've got four bets on em', so I am today.

Even though the Bears D has given up a ton of yards, they have held them to 3 FGs lately, it should be more like 28-7, not 16-7

Steelers baby!! I thought we screwed ourselves on that fumble. Thankfully Vander-choke came through for Pittsburgh. As the interception didn't count when it should've, the right team won that game.

6 for 8 so far in my predictions. Not too shabby.

Preliminary picks for next week:

Steelers over Broncs
Panthers over Seahawks

Bears lose as expected, most overrated team all year, when you get to play six games against the Vikings, Packers and Lions... you better have a good record
