Anthony very well could have heard his name called in the draft had he chosen for forego his final year of eligibility with the Tigers.
But his mother had other plans.

Likely would have gone in the 5th or 6th round. He was smart to come back because with a good senior year and a solid performance in an all-star game I could see him going in the 4th round.

If he has another year like 2009 he should do well in the 2011 draft. Nice player!! (just ask NSU xlolx)

Looks like he had a very good 2009.
He finished the 2009 campaign with 76 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss, eight sacks, five interceptions, three fumble recoveries, and five forced fumbles.
He had two defensive touchdowns, and could have doubled that total — or even tripled it — if not for a few returns that ended just short of the goal line and an unselfish lateral to a teammate on another.
Sounds like he has a great attitude and work ethic that will serve him well. Look forward to seeing where he goes in the 2011 draft.

He really "grew" into being a great player... His first season was 2007 and he played as a 234lb defensive end. He worked his butt off in the weight room and is now 275lbs and just as quick as he was at 234 lbs. Good kid, really good work ethic!
