I was yelling and screamin' and carrying on and knew I had to post it immediately.

Cam Quayle, if memory serves, was the other Weber State Mr. Irrelevant five or so years ago.

being Mr. Irrelevant is the best thing ever... gets a trip to disney world, a parade if i'm not mistaken... i'm sure you guys already knew that but maybe others didn't. anyway, it's way better than being 1 pick before mr. irrelevant... or not drafted at all.

I had a friend in college named Tim Washington, a cornerback from Fresno State who was drafted as Mr. Irrelevant a bunch of years back. He didn't like the honor and wanted no part of the special events. He felt like it took away from his seriousness as a player. Washington went on to make the 49ers' roster. Hopefully Tim Toone will make the Detroit Lions.

I was watching the draft on the TV in a sportsbar here in Germany when they called his name. I started clapping and everyone was looking at me like I had just walked into the bar without a shirt on or something. Anyway, congrats to Tim and may he be anything BUT Mr. Irrelevantxthumbsupx

All of the Mr. Irrelevant formalities are completely optional, which most picks end up taking part of and having a good time. Some Mr. Irrelevants have declined the formalties due to it being sort of embarrassing for them.
