I sure hope we can be like them someday, too.

What on earth is going on at some of these places? I'm all for letting kids be kids and having a good time in college, but is is way over the top.

One player had already planned to transfer, if the other doesn't he should be kicked off the team anyways. Some kids can't hold their liquor. At least, I hope they were on something to do something so pathetic

The Fred Hill, Jr. situation at Rutgers is also embarrassing, though I always thought Fred Jr. was a good guy and my father has known his old man (Fred Sr., the RU Baseball coach) for a lot of years.

A bit misleading a thread title. If I saw a thread titles "Another reason to aspire to be the Big 12" and it pointed to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baylor_University_basketball_scandal, I wouldn't assume that by being a Big 12 school, it increases the odds of a player shooting another in the face.
Sadly, this is not isolated to any one school or conference. Whether it's an issue like what happened at lil' Binghamton (involved a former UMass player) or any of the power conferences, it's sad to see. Makes you wonder if we'd be better off with no athletic scholarships.
