Sorry I don't follow them only by box score since I have not lived in the Pitt/Ohio area in 25 years.

Impressive stats so far!! I bet the locals are loving him. Shame the Pirates will trade him for some future prospects and $$ to the Yankee's, Bo Sox's etc....

I'd like to see him stay in Pitt. Just think if they still had him, Bay, Sanchez etc .... xhurrayx

I wouldn't mind seeing him stay there, but we both know if he has another good half of a year he will be gone. I am worried though that the Chubs will try to get him to replace DLee for next year.

Cubs have Micah Hoffpauir who will most likely be DLee's successor. Filled in for him on many occasions at 1B, and can play the outfield as well. Has some good power as well.

I have a friend who works for the team and said he's never seen tailgaiting like that for opening day! So far, being his first year working there, Jones is one of the guys he's plugging. If they go .500 this year do they get an auto bid to the playoffs?
