American League
East
Yankees
Red Sox
Rays
Orioles
Blue Jays
Best top of the division in baseball. Cliche, but I think the Yankees have the best overall team, while Boston lacks the offense and Tampa the bullpen to keep up over the long haul. I wouldn't want to face any of those 3 in the playoffs, and whoever wins the East will be the AL favorite for the World Series. Baltimore looks to come on strong, but is unlikely to challenge the Big 3, while Toronto will hang on longer than you'd think due to their strong pitching staff
Central
White Sox
Tigers
Twins
Royals
Indians
This is likely to be a 3-team race as well, though of decidedly less quality. How will the ChiSox react after last year's disappointment? How about the Tigers after their collapse down the stretch? And do the Twins really have enough pitching? I'll take the White Sox if they're still listening to Guillen and their starters stay healthy. Minnesota is the best-managed team in the group, but I don't really trust their rotation, and the Tigers are going to be relying heavily on young players like Austin Jackson, but if Chicago stumbles at all, they're probably the #2 team. The Indians appear to be starting another rebuild, and I really can't say what the Royals are doing. I like KC's pitchers better
West
Angels
Rangers
Mariners
Athletics
This could be a very interesting race. I know people really love the Mariners, but I think they'll struggle to score. I'm a bigger fan of the Rangers, but I'd want to see more from their pitching staff before really jumping on the bandwagon. The Angels are still, I think, the most complete team in the West, and definitely the best-managed
Wild Card-Red Sox
Boston is the best of the rest, though it'll be a fun race with Tampa and Texas
National League
East
Phillies
Braves
Marlins
Mets
Nationals
Phils are the best team in this division easily, though the Braves are a clear second, and could make a run if the Phightin's stumble. Marlins are a nice group, but while they can hang on for a bit, they're not as deep as the two teams in front of them. As for the Mets, well, they have a nice lineup, but their rotation after Santana is iffy, and, well, "something is rotten in the state of Denmark"
Central
Brewers
Cardinals
Cubs
Reds
Pirates
Astros
I really like the make-up of this Brewers team, and I think they'll be just deep enough to hold off a good Cardinals squad for the pennant. Putting the Cubs third because I really don't know what to expect from them. Cincinnati may yet be building something, but they're still a step behind, while I feel I can maybe see the beginnings of a competitive team in Pittsburgh's future. Possibly
West
Rockies
Dodgers
Giants
Diamondbacks
Padres
Best race in the Majors right here. I think the Rockies are more complete and have a deeper rotation than LA, but the Dodgers can hit. SanFran will have offensive troubles again, but their top 3 in the rotation is as good as any in the majors and would make them a frightening DS foe. Diamondbacks have fallen off from just a few seasons ago, and I think the injury to Brandon Webb will hurt them this year
Wild Card-Braves
Atlanta is a strong 2nd behind Philly, and gets in before Los Angeles and St. Louis
Playoffs
ALDS
Yankees over White Sox
Red Sox over Angels
NLDS
Phillies over Brewers
Rockies over Braves
ALCS
Yankees over Red Sox
NLCS
Rockies over Phillies
World Series
Yankees over Rockies
Two best AL teams meet for the pennant and the Yankees stronger offense outlasts the Red Sox. Good playoffs in the NL, as the Phillies outlast the Brewers, Rockies top Atlanta, and Colorado scores an upset to take the crown. In the end, the Yankees are too good, too hungry and too well-led to falter in October, and New York goes back-to-back

If the Phils bullpen does a decent job, I think they could win 95-100 games this year. Haven't the time as yet to 'analyze' the rest of MLB, just takin' care of business at the moment...and the rest takes care of itself..;)
