At least the Packers have plenty of room under the cap.
Here, heading into next season, are the raw numbers of the teams that have the most and least amount of work to do to get under a salary cap that is projected to be between $92-$95 million.
OVER THE 2006 SALARY CAP
Oakland Raiders -- $35 million over -- Plenty will come off with the decision not to bring back quarterback Kerry Collins.
Denver Broncos -- $31 million over -- Denver is usually in this position and usually has little problem getting back under the cap.
New York Jets -- $30 million over -- Some big-time quarterback decisions looming.
Kansas City Chiefs -- $28 million over -- Franchise could be headed for some big changes.
Washington Redskins -- $27 million -- At some point, Daniel Snyder has to pay.
UNDER THE 2006 SALARY CAP
Cleveland Browns -- $24 million under -- Should be more than enough money to get some pass rushers.
Arizona Cardinals -- $23 million under -- Still must decide on a quarterback.
Cincinnati Bengals -- $20 million under -- One of the league's most improved teams should be even better next season.
Minnesota Vikings -- $18 million under -- Have an additional $7 million coming because it under ran its incentives.
Green Bay Packers -- $16 million under -- Money to spend for a running back.

And some o-lineman, and a secondary, and maybe a d-lineman, and another receiver...
