I know its not football, Kyle Dake won National Wrestling Championship at 141 lbs. First Cornell freshman to win Nat'l Title.

J.P. O'Connor from Harvard wins National Wrestling Title at 157 lbs. Ivies looking good tonight.

Congrats. What a great accomplishment. Cal Poly's Chase Pami came up just short 6-4 in the 157 championship match. Lost to another Ivy League wrestler from Harvard.

Actually, Cornell and Harvard are NOT in the Ivy League in wrestling. It is the EIWA (Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association) which is the oldest collegiate wrestling conference in the country, starting in 1905. The current membership includes those schools from the Ivy (Harvard, Cornell, Princeton, Brown, Columbia, Penn), Patriot (Army, American, Bucknell, Lehigh, Navy), Big East (Rutgers) and Franklin & Marshall, which is D-III for all other sports.
