Lehigh's Zach Rey won the third place bronze today at the NCAAs at 285 lbs. The win should boost Lehigh to about #15 place pending tonight's finals. Iowa, as expected, has run away with the team championship. Cornell a distant second and a very tight bunching of 6 teams from #3-#8.
Very satisfied with the Mountain Hawks showing. Pre-tournament, I said I was hoping for cracking the Top 20 and have at least one All American, and it has happened. Inretrospect, two Lehigh kids, Fisk at 133 and Ciasulli at 141, both came within whiskers of making top 8 (all-american).
