ESPN is reporting what most suspected, that Joe Nathan's elbow was worse than anybody was saying. Torn ligament in his pitching elbow. May be out for the season.

That stinks for Twins fans, but as a Sox fan, don't mind if I do a little Happy Dance!

Why didn't they investigate this once the off season began so he could go under the knife and be back ASAP???

Nathan did have off season surgery.

I don't get it then. If he had the surgery how is it worse NOW than what they thought it would be? Does he have to go under the knife again?

I don't get it then. If he had the surgery how is it worse NOW than what they thought it would be? Does he have to go under the knife again?

"They" thought it was just a bone chip problem last fall :o

I guess I shouldnt of hung with him and his agent last sunday down in ft myers..... guess I cursed him. ARGH!

Too bad...Twins are coming to CBP in June. Planning on getting to the Sunday game to see Mauer in person.

Just an FYI, if there is a night game Saturday, Mauer may sit or just DH on Sunday.
